This Management Plan is designed to monitor the Project’s financial activities
and implementation progress by assuring that the Project Director has the required authority and
that all procedures are clear and appropriate.
The Chancellors will assist in the planning, policies, accountability, and integration of the
Project’s activities into the administrative structure. They will delegate this authority to the
Project Director for the overall management of the Project and will also create the Title V
Administrative Task Force, which will assist the Director and Co-Director to ensure
achievement of the Project’s objectives. The Task Force will follow up on the project’s progress
and integration within the partner institutions. This will ensure an adequate flow of information
and frequent feedback on problems as well as successes. Annual individual performance reviews
for the Title V staff will be performed, consistent with UPR policy, through direct reporting
lines. Coordinators will also receive a performance review from the Director and Co-Director
concerning their obligations to the Project.
The SRASC Coordinator, the FASTRC Coordinator, and the Technology and Online
Services Coordinator will report to the Project Director and will be responsible for executing
and implementing the tasks to meet their components’ objectives at both institutions. The
Faculty Coordinator, Library Services Coordinator, and the Mentors Coordinator will report to
the Project Co-Director and will be responsible for executing and implementing the tasks to
meet their components’ objectives at both institutions..
Through monthly meetings with all Coordinators, the Director and Co-director will assure
accurate implementation of the project, the collection of appropriate data to measure attainment
of activity performance indicators, the achievement of the Project’s objectives, and its integration
within the partner institutions’ activities. These meetings will guarantee an adequate flow of
information and frequent feedback on problems as well as successes. The Director and Codirector together with the Coordinators will be responsible for the mid-year and annual reports.
